Racing window nets are a critical piece of safety equipment, especially as you get faster and faster on the track. They are designed to keep your head, arms, and body contained within the roll structure during a crash, as well as keep debris out of the cockpit. Many racing series require a window net, especially in wheel-to-wheel racing, dirt racing, and off-road racing.
When choosing a racing window net, be sure to select one with an appropriate amount of webbing and window coverage. Window nets come in a variety of shapes and sizes, so it’s easy to find the right one for your vehicle. Plus, many nets come in a range of colors, so you can match the net to the body of your race car.
Before every event, inspect the webbing and mounting points of your window net for signs of wear and tear. Also be sure to check for signs of damage within the webbing structure, as UV rays and flying debris can weaken the webbing over time. When installing a window net in your race car, be sure to take your time and carefully follow the manufacturer’s instructions. SFI certification for window nets lasts up to two years. Make sure the window net you choose is certified for your type of racing, and that your individual net is up to date.

Racequip bottom bar strap on window net mount kits are designed to hold the window net bottom bar in place. They include six, 1.5 in. nylon straps and six 3-bar heavy-duty drop forged slides that are adjustable from 8 to 18 in. lengths. The straps can follow the contour of an angled door bar.

Schroth Racing GT Window Net Hardware Kits
Schroth Racing GT window net hardware kits str designed to revolutionizes window net installation, while also incorporating an easy-to-operate design. Available in both small and large sizes, these hardware kits can be purchased as a standalone item, or a complete kit with Schroth Racing Window Net.
