Alpinestars Tech-1T V3 shoes offer drivers optimum levels of comfort, fit and feel. Featuring a full bovine leather construction, the shoes boast a cutaway section at the heel to allow movement while operating the pedals with no pressure points when driving. Every aspect of the shoes has been carefully considered to keep weight as low as possible; the hook-and-loop strap is a single layer for added lightness—also ensuring there is no pressure point on the instep; and the classic lace closure system features hidden loops on the lateral and medial to guarantee a snug but unrestrictive fit. The RaceQuip PRO20 Carbon side air helmet is a Snell SA2020 rated full face auto racing helmet that incorporates contemporary styling with advanced composite production techniques. The shell is built using pre-preg carbon fiber and kevlar materials placed into pressurized steel molds to achieve the best combination of light weight and strength. These helmets are also sometimes called forced air, blower, or pumper helmets because they have a provision on the helmet to attach a fresh air hose. The left side manifold design utilizes an inlet barb that works with standard 1.250 in. round hose. The forced air is channeled from the manifold across the faceshield from left to right.The forced air cools your face and airways and also keeps the faceshield fog free. Reinforced M6 threaded HANS/HNR inserts are mated to the Carbon Fiber shell along with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner. HANS or other Head and Neck Restraint device anchor posts (not included) can be easily attached to the outside of the helmet using the installed M6 threaded inserts. The distortion free 3mm polycarbonate faceshield features a red anodized aluminum pivot kit, hand ratcheting TearOff posts, and a silicone eyeport gasket to seal out dust and dirt. A wide eyeport provides good peripheral vision and allows the use of personal eyewear. The fire retardant clear coat produces a deep gloss finish to highlight the tight weave of the Carbon Fiber.The Snell SA rating means that the interior, clear coat, and kevlar chin strap are all fire retardant, so the RaceQuip PRO20 Carbon side air helmet is suitable for use in all forms of motorsports. The rear exhaust vents and comfort fit blended Nomex® interior help to keep your scalp cool.
