Rhodes Race Cars competition roll cages meet or exceed NHRA and IHRA requirements (when properly installed). Available in 4, 6, 8, and 10-point models, all RRC bars are precision bent for each particular body style and feature notched tube ends (where applicable) for ease of installation. Increase chassis stiffness, and race safe with Rhodes Race Cars competition roll cages. RRC roll bars and cages are available in the following materials: * 1-3/4 in. x .134 in. wall mild steel tubing * 1-3/4 in. x .120 in. wall DOM tubing * 1-3/4 in. x .083 in. wall 4130 chromoly tubing The 4-point kits include main hoop, rear braces, seat crossmember, and four steel mounting plates. The 6-point kits include main hoop, rear braces, side bars, seat crossmember, and six steel mounting plates. The 8-point kits include main hoop, rear braces, side bars, frame supports, seat crossmember and 6 steel mounting plates. The 10-point kits include everything in the 8-point kits, plus a roof hoop, windshield runners, and dash crossmember. Wrap yourself in even more cabin protection, these Competition Engineering 10-point roll bar strut kits are the partner package for the 10-point roll bar main hoop kits. They include the two rear struts, two front door bars, ten 6 in. x 6 in. x 1/8th in. mounting pads, and 12 joint gussets. These combined with the main hoop kit give you the surrounding protection of a 10-point roll cage. This type of modification is required in most circuits of racing to provide increased cabin safety, while also improving the vehicles side impact protection. Best installed with the interior removed, they do require a mild amount of fabrication to properly fit to your vehicles application. Common installation steps may involve trimming length to fit your desired interior design, and welding is definitely involved. Working with the interior taken out also makes it much easier to get proper fitment, and assure proper welds are achieved. These strut kits will require the appropriate main hoop kits to complete the cage install. Both the main hoops and the strut kits are available in mild steel and chromoly, so make sure you get the right material for your designed cockpit.
