Createx Colors 4013 Reducer is a water-based paint thinner that contains isopropyl-alcohol. It's suitable for use with all Createx paints and can also be used as a substitute for 4011 Reducer. Adding 4013 Reducer to paint assists drying times by flashing water from the paint. It also reduces tip-dry, and decreases paint viscosity (thins it) for improved flow and atomization—especially when airbrushing. To use, add 5 to 10 percent reducer per volume to your paint, and allow 10 minutes for the reduced paint to acclimate. Additional produce notes: * The isopropyl-alcohol is classified as a flammable substance. Keep away from open flame and only use in a well-ventilated area. * There is not a pot-life after thinning Createx paints with 4013 Reducer. So long as colors are capped air-tight when not pouring paint from the bottle, the reduced-paints are safe to keep for several weeks. * Long-term storage of reduced paint is not recommended. Adding 4013 Reducer assists evaporation of the paint's water content, which promotes curing every time the bottle is opened and fresh air is introduced. Best practice is to only use reduced paint, capped air-tight, for a month or so. * 4013 Reducer is available in a variety of sizes, from 2 oz. to 32 oz.
