Overland Vehicle Systems Nomadic 3 standard roof top tents are made from heavy-duty double insulated one-piece black diamond plated base material—and feature marine-grade stainless steel hinges and hardware. The 96 in. heavy-duty aluminum telescoping ladder with locking strap and quick-release steel hinges make it easy to get in and out of the roof top tent, even in the harshest of conditions. The 600D heavy-duty poly/cotton ripstop canvas body is built to withstand the elements, and the included 420D heavy-duty polyester rainfly will keep you dry in even the heaviest of downpours. All the seams in both the roof top tent rainfly and tent body are heat-sealed for extra waterproofing. The new "V" strength ridges integrated in the window rod poles are designed for stability in windy conditions. Each tent comes with a comfortable 3 in. mattress with black quilted cover on top of an insulated base so you can sleep soundly through the night. Tepui Explorer Series Ayer tents are designed for all-year, all-season adventures—all in a compact package! These 2-person roof-top tents are perfect for smaller vehicles, like cars and mid-size SUVs, thanks to the low weight (only 100 lbs.!) and smaller footprint. Plus, each features a lightweight aluminum base packed with fiberglass insulation to keep you comfortable. Inside, the Tepui Explorer Series Ayer tent features a fully wrapped, 5/8 in. diameter aluminum A-frame, plus a 2.5 in. thick, high-density foam mattress with a removable, washable cotton cover. The mattress stretches from edge to edge, providing enough room to sleep up to two people comfortably. There are even four large internal pockets to keep your gear organized and out of the way. Outside, the canopy is constructed from a waterproof 600-denier, 260g polyester/cotton blend that's UV- and mildew-resistant. It's finished with four large no-seam mesh windows and two skylights with YKK water-resistant zippers; and the canopy can be easily removed from the base via Tepui's patented Zipper Gimp system.
