As the name suggests, these oils and greases help precision-machined engine and transmission parts slide together without damage during assembly. Melling Mell-Lube engine assembly and break-in fluid contains a special additive that plates wear surfaces to prevent scoring or galling during engine startup. Mell-Lube also contains corrosion inhibitors to prevent rust and pitting to new engines.
