Liqui Moly LM 48 installation paste can be used for assembly of engines, gearboxes, industrial machinery, or for press fitting. It uses a synergistically active and unique solid lubricant system of zinc sulfide, graphite, fluorides, and tungsten disulfide. Features: * Very adherent on polished surfaces * Use on engine bearings, piston skirts, camshaft lobes, etc. * Prevents dry-run damage at start-up * Allows easy assembly of tight-fitting parts * Provides protection from scoring during press-fit * Service temperature: –31 to +842 degrees F (-35 to +450 degrees C)

The solid lubricant provides the ultimate in wear protection and friction reduction, and is resistant to seawater and freshwater, along with having excellent adhesive properties.
