It is extremely tough and durable and adheres to a wide range of metals as well as PVC, plastic, ceramic, fiberglass, glass, and wood. Valco Epoxi-Putty sets up under water, is impervious to chemicals, and can be used on highly porous surfaces. After one hour, it can be drilled, tapped, filed, and machined. Cured Epoxi-Putty can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees F. Permatex large diameter red threadlocker is an OEM-specified, high-strength adhesive for use for locking and sealing larger bolts and studs 1 in. or greater in diameter. It's great for use on rocker arm studs, frame brackets, suspension fasteners, shock absorber mounts, wheel studs and more. This Permatex threadlocker also guards against vibration loosening. Heat may be required to weaken bond before parts can be disassembled.
