Summit Racing™ Metal Conditioner is acid-based to etch bare metal substrates for improved adhesion of primers and other coatings. The conditioner neutralizes "flash" rust and converts surface oxidation into iron phosphate, which protects metal and stops further corrosion until a proper coating can be applied.
