Moroso Moly Paste Assembly Lubes

Moroso moly paste assembly lube is a heavy-duty molybdenum disulfide assembly lubricants specially designed to reduce friction and wear on all metal surfaces. These lubes extend the life of parts subjected to extreme heat during racing. The moly paste formula coats surfaces with a film that chemically bonds itself to metals, filling in the microscopic pores that are present in all metal products. These coated areas retain an unbroken film of lubricant that reduces metal-to-metal contact and reduces the risk of component failure. It is recommended for use on cams, lifters, bearings, gears, etc. and is very effective when storing an engine. It is not for use on piston rings or cylinder walls.

ARP Ultra Torque Fastener Assembly Lubricant

Because of frictional inconsistencies with oil, moly, and other lubricants, it takes multiple cycles of torquing the bolt, loosening it, and tightening it again to obtain the required preload or stretch. Typically, when a fastener is first tightened, friction is at its highest point and the preload value or stretch is low. As the fastener is cycled numerous times the friction decreases and the preload increases. This phenomenon is called "preload scatter." With ARP Ultra Torque assembly lubricant, a fastener need only be torqued once to get within 5 percent of ideal preload, and it remains consistent through all subsequent cycles (from race-prep machining through final assembly). Moreover, given the inconsistencies of ordinary lubes, it's quite possible for adjacent head bolts or studs to have vastly different preloads. This scatter causes bore distortion, hampers piston ring seal, and leads to poor head gasket sealing. Order the tube or container size needed for your applications.
