Permatex high-temperature red threadlocker is OEM specified. It is a high-temperature, high-strength threadlocker for heavy-duty applications and prevents bolts and press fits 3/8 in. to 1 1/2 in. from loosening due to shock, severe vibration, and heat stress. It's exclusively formulated for newer engines and high performance applications that require extreme temperature resistance. Permatex high-temperature red threadlocker is suited for temperatures up to 450 degrees F and is removable with heat and hand tools.

Permatex permanent strength red threadlocker is OEM specified. This red is a permanent, high-strength product that is applied to fasteners 3/8 in. to 1 in. in size before assembly. It is designed for securing parts that must withstand heavy shock, vibration, or extreme chemical or environmental conditions. Localized heating and hand tools are required to separate parts, and it conforms to ASTM D5363 AN0331 standards. Permatex permanent strength red threadlocker is also offered in a dual-purpose formula plug sealant/retaining compound for sealing and securing cylindrical metal assemblies.

Permatex penetrating grade threadlocker is an OEM-specified solution for fasteners ranging from No. 2 to 1/2 in. diameter in size. A medium strength anaerobic threadlocking material that cures between engaged threads to form a unitized assembly that resists virtually all leakage, shock and vibration. Because of its low viscosity and capillary action, this threadlocker wicks between engaged threads and eliminates the need to disassemble, apply product and then reassemble. This product can also fill porosity in welds, castings and powder metal parts. Excellent chemical resistance with a temperature resistance range of -54 degrees C to 150 degrees C (-65 degrees F to 300 degrees F). Permatex penetrating grade threadlocker is applied after assembly, simplifying preventive maintenance procedures. It's great for use on rocker arm studs, frame brackets, suspension fasteners, shock absorber mounts, wheel studs and more. This Permatex threadlocker also guards against vibration loosening. Heat may be required to weaken bond before parts can be disassembled.
