Choose to listen to your favorite station from the built-in 2-inch speaker or plug in a set of headphones or earbuds for private listening in stereo. A separate 3.5mm Line In/Out jack provides a fixed, line-level audio output for recording and allows for routing audio to a separate amplifier system. This Line in/Out jack also serves to allow audio-in to the radio for listening through its internal speaker. Power options for the Elite Executive include four AA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries or use the included AC adapter/charger. When connected, the AC adapter will recharge Ni-MH batteries when installed in the radio (batteries not included).
