The Stop Shop headlight door bumper stoppers are rubber parts designed to prevent the headlight door on vehicles with hideaway or pop-up headlights from causing damage. Essentially, these headlight components act as a cushion, preventing metal from hitting metal, which helps protect the headlights and surrounding components from damage to ensure proper operation of the hideaway headlight system. The rubber bumpers mount to the radiator core support brackets and stop the travel of the headlight bucket door. This helps to prevent the headlight door from striking and potentially damaging the surrounding grille or other parts, maintaining the integrity of the headlight mechanism and your classic vehicle's appearance.
