Everyone loves the look of classic sealed beam headlights, but the dim halogen light output makes nighttime driving a potentially risky endeavor for you and your beloved classic. Holley's new RetroBright LED headlights offer a number of advantages over traditional sealed beam headlights, such as plug-and-play compatibility, better visibility, and 6x longer life. Not only that, but because they are LED, the lights take up less space, create far less heat, and use less power than other headlights. The low-profile housing design fits most shallow headlight buckets found on classic cars without the hassle of cutting or drilling. Holley worked closely with Morimoto, a leader in lighting design, to develop its lineup of lighting solutions that boast a classic look with modern lighting technology. A special PWM LED driver resides inside of the headlight to keep the LEDs running at their peak intensity, even during prolonged periods of use. For example, the 7 in. round LED produces 32,000 Candela for low beam, and 53,000 Candela for high beam, which is nearly three times more light output than your original headlights. RetroBright has offerings to fit most classic and modern vehicles that utilize the popular 5.75 in. round, 7 in. round, 4 in. x 6 in. rectangular, and 5 in. x 7 in. rectangular headlight housings. They're available in 3000 Kelvin and 5700 Kelvin color temperatures, depending on whether you're looking for that classic lighting hue or want an even brighter, more modern look. And if your vehicle feels more at home across the pond, Holley also offer headlights with yellow lenses for that European flair. Morimoto Micro D2S 5.0 projectors offer the best of both worlds with the beam pattern of the Mini D2S 5.0 inside a Mini H1-sized package. The Micro D2S 5.0 projectors' beam pattern is perfectly distributed with a natural gradient of intensity down to the foreground, and the high beam is hard to beat. The lenses have a blue tint--an AR coating that increases the transmission of light through the glass while decreasing bleed, resulting in 10 percent more light and less glare compared to a traditional clear lens. They come standard with the MotoHolders--a one-piece design that's far easier to work with than the bulb holders found on no-name brand projectors. Finally, they also include CNC-machined aluminum lock rings that are great looking and 300 percent stronger than the old diecast part, and Torx screws for the lens holder instead of Philips screws. Morimoto offers XB Bi-Xenon light bulbs in a variety of styles. In fact, nothing compares to the Morimoto XB HID lineup. Compatible with 35W and 55W, the XB's will produce more lumens, last longer, project farther, and look better doing it. The XB Bi-xenon bulbs use a magnetic solenoid in their base to change the focal point of the bulb to produce a secondary pattern. Simple, and effective - they work well in most fog lights to provide more light in both modes. At the heart of the XB bulbs is their perfectly aligned 100 percent Philips quartz glass that houses a capsule from APL-USA. Using high-quality halide salts, the bulbs produce nearly the same luminosity (intensity) as the amazing Osram CBI bulbs at 5500K. Plansee electrodes help keep the bulbs running brighter for longer. After 200 hours of use, Morimoto bulbs will maintain 83 percent of their intensity. Morimoto's Symmetry-Structure frame surrounds the base of the glass capsule, keeping everything properly lined up—wich is paramount when it comes to HID bulbs.
