Diode Dynamics SS3 Max LED fog light kits are the ultimate upgrade for your ride. Featuring cutting-edge lighting technology, they'll light your way with authority. Each light features a custom molded mounting bracket, plug-and-play design for quick install, and specially engineered optics. Wire adapters are included to connect the lights to your factory bulb sockets, with no additional wiring needed. The TIR optic in the SS3 LED lights serve as both the optic and main lens for greater efficiency and light output. Thanks to this innovative feature, the total intensity of the SS3 is much greater than other LED pods. These lights are available in a cool white or selective yellow color. The white is a 6000K color temperature, which is a true cool white output and matches most factory LED lighting. The selective yellow is a 3000K color temperature, great for high contrast in poor weather or a distinctive look on the road. SS3 Max LED light kits come in multiple light patterns and power levels. The Driving pattern is designed to supplement your high beams, but it's great for general illumination as well. Rather than a traditional "spot" pattern, the Driving pattern shines in an 18 x 8 degree spread, providing just enough width to fully illuminate the road ahead at high speeds. The Fog pattern provides an extremely wide field of view, with high-intensity output over an entire 80-degree spread. It serves as a great upgrade for any factory fog lamps and will fully illuminate the area in front of your vehicle. When installed as a pair and aimed in accordance with your state's regulations, the Driving White pattern meets SAE J581 standard as a Driving/Auxiliary High Beam Light, and the Fog pattern meets SAE J583 standard as a fog lamp for legal on-road use. Diode Dynamics Elite Series Fog Lamps
Diode Dynamics Elite Series fog lamps are direct replacements for your vehicle's fog lamp housings. Factory fog lights are built to meet minimum output requirements. The Elite Series are the first OE-style fog lights that were designed for true performance. With a custom-engineered patent-pending optic, multi-die automotive emitters, and high-power full-copper circuit boards, each Elite Series fog light delivers up to 5x more output than halogen lamps. With a plug-and-play installation, this is one of the easiest and most effective upgrades you can make to improve your visibility in inclement weather. Elite Series fog lamps are built around a highly-engineered single-piece PMMA lens. This optic was carefully designed using advanced optical simulation software to produce a light pattern that's wider than any other aftermarket fog lamp on the market, with an 80-degree spread of highly intense light. Even with this wide band of light, the pattern is extremely smooth throughout, with a sharp cutoff to avoid glare to other drivers--including a BMW-style "color flicker" at the very edge of the pattern. Diode Dynamics engineers accomplished all this while still meeting SAE F3 fog light standards for legal on-road use. These fog lamps are available in a cool white or selective yellow output color.
