Borgeson shortened stock column shift steering columns maintain original column shift function with power steering conversion. These columns work with 1957 Chevy cars that have column shift automatic transmissions. The shortened design allows proper fit and clearance when using conversion steering boxes. You must use part number 055049 rag joint to connect this column to the conversion box properly. The replacement columns keep the original look and shift pattern while working with modern power steering; and their stock style appearance maintains your car's original interior design.
