Made for race cars with tube-style chassis, these universal race steering column kits from Competition Engineering feature 3/4 in. x .058 in. wall chromoly steel shafts for lighter weight without sacrificing strength. The inner shaft rides in two flanged polymer bushings that mount to a 1 1/2 in. diameter 6061-T6 aluminum tube. Other features include grease fittings, a stop collar, an SFI-approved quick-release steering hub, a precision needle bearing U-joint, and installation instructions.
