That's 222 ft.-lbs of racecar cranking power. If that's not enough cranking power to suit you, there are even more powerful 3.1 hp monsters, which are a pound lighter! They have a 4.44:1 reduction ratio and churn out an awesome 342 ft.-lbs. of torque. Our full size high-torque starters give you 25 percent more torque than your OE starter. On the inside, we gave them specially wound copper field coils, heat-resistant solenoids, low-carbon brushes, and thick-barred armatures for fail-free performance under high-temperature conditions. The rotating assemblies spin on heat-treated shafts that ride in Bendix bearings for reliability and long life. These starters fit all Chevys with a 168-tooth ring gear and a staggered bolt pattern.

Summit Racing™ Digital RTR Plus Billet Distributors
We've taken our original Ready-to-Run billet distributors and upped the ante with our Summit Racing™ Digital RTR (Ready-to-Run) Plus billet distributors. They now feature a digital module with a 7.5 amp rated dwell control circuit for maximum energy output. They deliver 400 volts and 125mJ of spark energy to the coil and upwards of 50,000 volts from the coil to the spark plugs. We've also added a single-stage rev limiter with a simple "tap to ground" process of the tachometer lead attached to the module to set the limiter. The tachometer dual purpose lead also produces a 25 percent duty cycle, square wave signal, so it can be used with multifunction tachometers and most popular aftermarket EFI systems. Another bonus feature of our digital technology is a fully automatic start retard. This built-in feature provides 4 degrees of timing retard during cranking and is fully dialed out by 300 rpm. This gives you easier and quicker hot restarts while lowering the initial start load on the starter and electrical system. With all these upgraded features, you're assured of peak output throughout all RPM ranges, quicker hot starts, EFI capability and the reliability of digital technology. The distributors still have the same lightweight, forged, precision CNC-machined aluminum housing for strength and stability; polished steel shafts with sealed ball bearings for stable operation through 10,000 rpm; and a maintenance-free, high-output magnetic trigger for accurate and reliable performance. All distributors come with a high-quality, 30 percent glass-filled PBT cap and rotor with brass terminals and contacts. An ignition box is not required for use with Summit Racing™ Digital RTR Plus billet distributors except when used with an aftermarket EFI system. Select the model recommended for your car, truck, or van. These Ready-to-Run distributors must use a coil with .5 to .7 Ohms primary resistance and 5 to 7 mH primary inductance.

Summit Racing™ Our Direct Fit Chevrolet and GMC Truck Reproduction Battery Cables are Made In The USA using the original GM specifications to insure a perfect fit. All of our battery cables are upgraded with High Performance Cross-Linked Polyethylene type insulation rated at 125C and are nearly impervious to oils, fuels, chemicals and typical engine temperatures unlike the PVC insulation type cables used during production. They are guaranteed to fit and outlast your OEM battery cables. They include any factory installed convoluted conduits, looms, insulating sleeves, mounting clamps, correct size side post bolt hex head on the battery terminals and appropriate angled ring terminals for that perfect routing and fit. Our battery cables are not service type assemblies designed to replace the factory installed cables. They are built to match the original cables GM installed when the trucks were new. The molded-on insulator on the side-post battery terminal end of the cables are molded in Red for positive and Black for negatives to original GM standards using upgraded Thermoplastic Elastomer components instead of PVC for long life.
