409 Pro Wire sets start with Taylor's 8mm wires (available in spiral-wound or solid core) with a silicone inner insulator, fiberglass braid, and a 100 percent pure silicone jacket. Then they add a heat-treated fiberglass mesh skin and a third layer of pure silicone to get a full 10.4mm diameter. Taylor even bonds pure silicone boots directly to the wires. The results are wires that have a 100,000 V plus dielectric strength rating that gets more spark to your plugs.

Taylor 409 Pro Race Spiro-Wound 10.4mm Spark Plug Wires

Taylor 409 Pro Race Spiro-Wound core spark plug wires are high-tech, high performance wires available for the street or track. They provide continuous heat protection up to 600 degrees F and 102,000 V of dielectric strength. A tightly woven, heat-treated fiberglass braid is applied over 100 percent pure silicone 8mm ignition wire. These sets are available in black, red, and blue with color-coordinated, 100 percent silicone Pro Boots bonded to the wires. They also feature vibration-proof, double spring locking plug terminals.
