Lokar drive-by-wire electronic throttle controls are the first programmable electronic throttle controls for the automotive aftermarket. These billet aluminum controls feature a non-contact, solid-state Hall effect sensor and are available, pre-programmed, from the factory for most GM, Ford, and Mopar applications. These controls are programmed to optimize electrical output for quicker throttle response, producing no pedal lag and three times the performance of OEM pedals. They also offer improved operator control and pedal stability over rough terrain making them ideal for high performance and off-road applications. The controls include an application-specific pedal wiring harness that works in conjunction with the OEM or aftermarket EFI wiring harnesses. Caspers Electronics knock sensor wiring harnesses with LS1 cam sensor adapter allow the cam sensor used on the front of an LS2/3/4/7/9 engine to be plugged into the LS1 cam sensor connector located at the back of the intake manifold. They are ideal for LS2/3/4/7/9 motor conversions and are compatible with the PCM harness in LS1/LS6 vehicles. Additionally, they include a knock sensor extension, which allows the single-wire LS1 knock sensors located on top of the LS1 manifold to be relocated on both sides of the LS2-series block, using the factory LS1 engine harness. AEM Electronics RTD and K-Type thermocouple sensors are the perfect solution for viewing and logging various temperatures—including exhaust gas temps (EGTs), cylinder head temps, pre and post intercooler temps, air temps, water temps, fluid temps, disc brake temps, and more. AEM offers a durable closed-tip RTD-type high temp sensor (PN 30-2052) and an inexpensive, fast-responding K-Type, closed tip thermocouple sensor (PN 30-2068). RTD-Type temperature sensors are packed with features that deliver consistent measurement and long life. These EGT sensors include a closed-tip design that lasts longer than the previous generation's perforated tip design; and the tip is smaller for less intrusion and less restriction. Inconel-tubing protects the wiring, which is terminated with a high-quality DTM-style 2-pin connector. Each sensor reads a temperature range of -40 to 1,560 degrees F (-40 to 850 degrees C), and their thin-film platinum element provides a high degree of accuracy (+/- 0.9 percent from 536 to 1,560 degrees F). The RTD-Type sensors are built with a 90-degree bend at the sensor tip for easier installation in tight spaces, and they include a weld-in sensor bung with machined M14x1.5 threads.
