Lokar Drive-By-Wire Electronic Throttle Controls

Lokar drive-by-wire electronic throttle controls are the first programmable electronic throttle controls for the automotive aftermarket. These billet aluminum controls feature a non-contact, solid-state Hall effect sensor and are available, pre-programmed, from the factory for most GM, Ford, and Mopar applications. These controls are programmed to optimize electrical output for quicker throttle response, producing no pedal lag and three times the performance of OEM pedals. They also offer improved operator control and pedal stability over rough terrain making them ideal for high performance and off-road applications. The controls include an application-specific pedal wiring harness that works in conjunction with the OEM or aftermarket EFI wiring harnesses. These Lokar electronic throttle controls are available with a brite or black anodized finish and are designed for use with one of Lokar's drive-by-wire pedal assemblies which are sold separately and available in a variety of styles and finishes to match your custom application.

Standard Motor Vehicle Speed Sensors

Replace your worn or malfunctioning vehicle speed sensor with one of these Standard Motor Products vehicle speed sensors. Depending upon a vehicle's equipment, the vehicle speed sensor commonly called a VSS may influence or control more systems than any other single sensor. Early-model vehicle speed sensors were just used to regulate the cruise control and control transmission shifts. Now, with OBD-II, vehicle speed is considered a part of the overall engine operating strategies, affecting both fuel delivery and ignition timing. The operations of the idle-air control valve and canister-purge cycle are regulated, in part, by the VSS. Automatic transmissions need VSS data to provide the best performance and mileage. Torque converter clutch operation is controlled by the VSS. In an electronically shifted transmission, VSS signals, instead of hydraulic pressure in the valve body, are used to determine shift points. Don't take chances with your vehicle's performance--insist on Standard Motor Products quality vehicle speed sensors.
