FuelTech FT450/550 Sportsman Datalogging A harnesses are designed around a Big Block Chevy, yet these harnesses have extra-long leads that allow them to be used in numerous other applications. They provide a plug-and-play solution to easily incorporate datalogging into any setup equipped with an FT450 or FT550 ECU. These harnesses come pre-terminated to plug directly into essential data logging input channels and have an extra input connector to add up to two more configurable inputs for sensors or buttons. They're also equipped with two extra connectors that allow the use of 10 outputs to control EFI fuel Injectors, ignition control through a CDI box with points input or smart coils (eight coils on wasted spark is not recommended for carbureted V8 applications). AEM Electronics CD-7 digital racing dash displays feature 7 in. full-color digital screens that are super bright, high contrast, and with sunlight-readable displays. To ensure visibility at all times, they also have integrated glare diffusers and shade hoods to overcome the brightest daylight conditions. The CD-7s are designed to accept channels from CAN bus connections—and two CAN bus channels are included so that they can receive and collect data from AEMnet-enabled devices. Seven ultra-bright LEDs span the top of the display housing for rpm and shift light indication. You can program them to ascend in specific increments based on rpm range, and flash when it's time to shift. Brightness is also programmable on the fixed color LEDs. Two large buttons are included on the face of the display, allowing easy page changing and memory resetting—even with driving gloves on. These button functions are duplicated on the rear connector, allowing you to mount remote buttons on the steering wheel, if desired. Two additional programmable LEDs are located above the toggle buttons on the sides of the housing. AEM offers the CD-7 as "display only" (non-logging) or with built-in logger (CD-7L). The units are available in either a cast aluminum or carbon fiber composite housing—with sealed connectors on the rear and anti-vibration mounts.
