The exposed tip gives the sensor a lower thermal inertia, allowing for faster reading during temperature variation. Innovate EGT band clamps help you securely attach sensors that measure exhaust gas temperature to your exhaust pipe. These components are hose clamp-style sensor mounts for standard EGT sensors. The EGT band clamps feature a tapered cone that minimizes possible exhaust leaks at sensor entrance. The square clamp saddle prevents sensor rotation and the clamp dimples allow for pipe expansion due to extreme exhaust temperatures. The lower profile allows installation in confined areas and the brass body/ferrule can tolerate multiple installations for use time and time again. FuelTech cylinder head temperature thermocouples offer faster and more accurate temperature reading for engine head temperature. The ring tip gives the sensor a lower thermal inertia than standard temperature sensors and provides an easier way to bolt to the head, allowing for faster readings during temperature variation of the cylinder head.
