Computech weld-in temperature sensors are designed for use with Computech's EGT Plus Series, as well as DataMaxx data logger systems. The probe is a 3/16 in. diameter and utilizes an 1/8 in. pipe thread weld-in bung. The probe is centered in the tube using a compression fitting screwed into the weld-in bung, both of which are included. The probe lead has a male K-type connector on the end and can easily be shortened to your installation. The Computech weld-in temperature sensors are designed to be used with regular octane gasoline, high-octane racing gas, ethanol, methanol, and nitro mixtures. They cannot be used with diesel, as a specific diesel exhaust gas sensor is required.

They feature needle bearings for precision opening, a centered opening for repeatability, and internal parts made of stainless steel to resist corrosion. Measuring the exhaust backpressure is vital data required to best determine the true efficiency of your combination. By separating the backpressure sensor from the direct connection to the exhaust manifold using FuelTech's backpressure canister, the sensor will be protected from heat, moisture--and has pressure spike filtering naturally built into the canister. This filtering assists in protecting the sensor and allows you to see true indication of pressure in the exhaust manifold. These billet aluminum backpressure canisters measure 2 3/4 in. to 2 1/2 in. with mounting holes 2 in. center-to-center. The sensor port and hardline inlet are tapped to 1/8 in. NPT.
