AEM Electronics CD-7 Digital Racing Dash Displays
AEM Electronics CD-7 digital racing dash displays feature 7 in. full-color digital screens that are super bright, high contrast, and with sunlight-readable displays. To ensure visibility at all times, they also have integrated glare diffusers and shade hoods to overcome the brightest daylight conditions. The CD-7s are designed to accept channels from CAN bus connections—and two CAN bus channels are included so that they can receive and collect data from AEMnet-enabled devices. Seven ultra-bright LEDs span the top of the display housing for rpm and shift light indication. You can program them to ascend in specific increments based on rpm range, and flash when it's time to shift. Brightness is also programmable on the fixed color LEDs. Two large buttons are included on the face of the display, allowing easy page changing and memory resetting—even with driving gloves on. These button functions are duplicated on the rear connector, allowing you to mount remote buttons on the steering wheel, if desired. Two additional programmable LEDs are located above the toggle buttons on the sides of the housing. AEM offers the CD-7 as "display only" (non-logging) or with built-in logger (CD-7L). Racepak Analog Pre-Programmed V-Net Modules With Sensors
Racepak's Vehicle Network (V-Net) is a "smart data" transfer network able to transmit multiple signals from sensors over a single cable. The key to the V-Net system is the modular connectors that attach each of the devices to the main cable. For a function or component to be monitored on the V-Net, the signal from that device must pass through a sensor and its module (essentially a miniature computer) that identifies and retrieves only the proper incoming signals and allows other signals to pass through. The sensor measures the input from the function or device (i.e. rpm, pressure, temperature, etc.), while the module converts the signal so it can be transmitted over the V-Net. Racepak analog pre-programmed V-Net modules with sensors are programmed to collect specific data and are ready for plug-and-play installation on the V-Net cable. Racepak SmartWire Kits
Racepak SmartWire kits are fully programmable power distribution modules, capable of controlling 30 outputs (on/off switching) and 12 inputs (switch-activated) on any type of 12–16 VAC systems. Fuses, relays, and solenoids are eliminated, instead controlled through solid-state switching inside the housing. Current outputs and switching inputs—along with a nearly unlimited variety of on-off switching functions—are user-programmable through the Racepak DataLink II software. Racepak SmartWire kits can operate in three different modes: * Stand Alone: Power from the battery is connected to the power stud of the SmartWire. Outputs to each device in the vehicle are connected to one of two 15-pin connectors; output currents and related requirements are programmed via connection of the SmartWire to the user's PC. Switching off and on of the devices is handled through inputs on the 15-pin connectors or optional SwitchPanel or SwitchModule. * In conjunction with Racepak V-Net sensors: Want to automatically turn on a radiator fan, but only when the water temperature is above 190 degrees? Add a Racepak V-Net water temperature sensor to the vehicle, connect it to the V-Net port of the SmartWire, and program it through use of a PC connected to the SmartWire. * In conjunction with a Racepak V-Net data logger: This allows the SmartWire to be connected to the single V-Net T cable, which transmits all sensor data to the data logger. Racepak LDX Logger Dash Data Recorders
Racepak LDX Logger dash data recorders combine data acquisition with Racepak's advanced instrumentation! They also take full advantage of the capabilities of V-Net technology. In addition to the wiring harness that imports signals from the engine rpm, drive-shaft rpm, water temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage, up to 32 optional sensors modules can be attached to the single V-Net network cable. This yields a total recording capability of 37 channels of data. The LDX Logger can record and upload to a PC the data from all of the monitored sensors, while at the same time displaying the input from up to 21 of those functions on the dash screen. With the simple push of a button, you can view the displayed functions by scrolling through four separate screen pages on the dash. Each page contains five user-programmable digital displays, plus the constant engine rpm bar graph. Selecting which functions will appear on each page is done through your Racepak Datalink software. The dash features output ports to connect a shift light and an external warning light. Shift points can be programmed using the screen of the dash or your software. You're also able to assign limits for the warning lights and the parameters for the dash-mounted mode buttons. Minimum and maximum levels that were attained during a recording can also be displayed. One full megabyte of memory provides a generous amount of recording time, while sample rates are programmable up to 100 per second per channel. Uploading data to a PC or laptop is accomplished through an included 6 ft. serial cable. The screen is backlit for nighttime use. Four threaded studs on the rear of the LDX Dash Logger facilitate mounting it to any flat surface.

Racepak Shock Travel Sensor Kits
The name of the game in racing is traction, and keeping your tires firmly planted under all track conditions and surface abnormalities have become a science. Monitoring suspension deflection through shock absorber movement is the common method of tracking suspension and tire performance. Racepak users can employ these shock absorber travel sensors to monitor even the slightest amount of shock travel or tire shake. Shock travel graphs will provide you with the data you'll need to tune 'to the track' more precisely. These door car kits are available for front or rear shock travel.
