MSD Digital 6 off-road ignition controllers deliver a fully potted design that provides the ruggedness and reliability needed to get your 4WD to any destination. These units multi-spark below 3,000 rpm on V8s—ensuring clean, crisp throttle response and complete fuel burn when crawling at low speeds. Above 3,000 rpm, a powerful capacitive discharge spark keeps the fire lit until you let off the skinny pedal. The smooth, accurate rev-limiter will protect your engine from over-rev damage due to drivetrain failure or a slick spot on the trail. Whether you're crawling rocks, high-speed desert racing, or playing in any kind of harsh terrain, your off-road rig can benefit from an MSD Digital 6 off-road ignition controller. With their optimized winding design, PerTronix Flame-Thrower HEI and TFI ignition coils are a great upgrade from stock. They produce more than 50,000 V of energy to zap your plugs, for fuller, more complete combustion and better power. When used with their companion Flame-Thrower ignition modules, they produce more than twice the energy of a stock system at the plugs. They're wrapped in rugged alkyd housings and are available for both distributor-mounted and external applications.

MSD Pro Mag 44 Ignition Coils
MSD Pro Mag 44 ignition coils are a key part of MSD's Mag 44 ignition system for pro-level drag cars. There's more than a pound of high-quality copper wire wound around the molded DuPont Rynite core in every one, which allows them to handle the 44 amps of output from the system's companion magneto. These coils deliver 50,000 V of long-duration spark to the plugs to ensure that the nitro is ignited. For maximum vibration protection and reliability, the windings and all internals are completely wrapped in rugged epoxy. They're not for use with the Pro Mag 12.
