This is even more important on high-compression engines, or engines with power adders like a turbocharger, supercharger, or nitrous oxide. The increased cylinder pressure created under these conditions makes it more difficult for a spark to jump across the spark plug gap, and a weak or nonexistent spark will cause misfires, incomplete combustion, and hard starting. Other advantages of a premium, high-performance ignition system are improved high-rpm performance, and features like rev limiters, adjustable boost/nitrous timing retard, and more.

Holley Sniper EFI HyperSpark distributor kits were designed to make upgrading your ignition on a Sniper EFI-equipped engine simple. When installed concurrently with a new Sniper EFI system, the combination creates the easiest way to install EFI conversion on the market—and only four flying lead connections are required! The harness only requires one connection to a switched power source, battery positive, battery negative, and fuel pump power. The pre-terminated connectors and a built in 40A relay provides power to all of the components within the system. With the included Sniper EFI main harness you no longer need to run multiple wires to provide switched power for each individual component, which not only helps prevent wiring confusion, but it will also speed up your install time and clean up your engine bay.
