The Go-Spark CDI produces a series of multiple sparks below 2,500 rpm to improve starting, idle quality, and throttle response. FiTech Go-Spark Ready-To-Run distributors have a built-in module for easy installation with a simple 3-wire hook up, negating the need to run an external ignition control box. They are perfect distributors for a crate engine or when replacing an old points-triggered distributor. Each one features a CNC-machined 6061 T-6 aluminum housing with a centerless ground shaft. The shaft rides on an upper sealed roller bearing with an extended length lower bronze Oil-Lite bushing for smooth operation at high rpms and extended service life. A high-output magnetic pickup and large paddle wheel reluctor provides a strong trigger signal at high rpms, while the built-in high performance inductive storage module supplies unrivaled energy to the coil ensuring maximum performance at all rpm levels. The fully adjustable mechanical advance is welded to the top of the shaft for easy access and is plated to reduce friction and prevent corrosion for long term durability. The affordable distributors have high-dollar features that outperform the competition, like a lightweight aluminum housing that's precision CNC-machined for strength and stability, polished steel shafts with sealed ball bearings for stable operation through 10,000 rpm, and a maintenance-free, high-output magnetic trigger for accurate and reliable performance. The distributors have a black alkyd cap and some models also feature vacuum advance. An ignition box is not required for use with Summit Racing™ Ready-to-Run billet distributors except when used with an aftermarket EFI system.

We've taken our original Ready-to-Run billet distributors and upped the ante with our Summit Racing™ Digital RTR (Ready-to-Run) Plus billet distributors. They now feature a digital module with a 7.5 amp rated dwell control circuit for maximum energy output. They deliver 400 volts and 125mJ of spark energy to the coil and upwards of 50,000 volts from the coil to the spark plugs. We've also added a single-stage rev limiter with a simple "tap to ground" process of the tachometer lead attached to the module to set the limiter. The tachometer dual purpose lead also produces a 25 percent duty cycle, square wave signal, so it can be used with multifunction tachometers and most popular aftermarket EFI systems. Another bonus feature of our digital technology is a fully automatic start retard. This built-in feature provides 4 degrees of timing retard during cranking and is fully dialed out by 300 rpm. This gives you easier and quicker hot restarts while lowering the initial start load on the starter and electrical system. With all these upgraded features, you're assured of peak output throughout all RPM ranges, quicker hot starts, EFI capability and the reliability of digital technology. The distributors still have the same lightweight, forged, precision CNC-machined aluminum housing for strength and stability; polished steel shafts with sealed ball bearings for stable operation through 10,000 rpm; and a maintenance-free, high-output magnetic trigger for accurate and reliable performance. All distributors come with a high-quality, 30 percent glass-filled PBT cap and rotor with brass terminals and contacts. An ignition box is not required for use with Summit Racing™ Digital RTR Plus billet distributors except when used with an aftermarket EFI system.
