Get on the performance grid with MSD Ignition Power Grid power modules. When connected to the Power Grid, they will data log all the functions--including time from launch and time or rpm of activation and deactivation. These timing controllers feature four high-current, solid-state switches that can be configured independently or in conjunction by time, rpm, and temperature switching on/off, as well as by percentage for nitrous systems. Each channel is capable of handling 20 amps of current without the use of a relay and can be used to activate fan, fuel pump, nitrous oxide system, throttle stop, and more--the possibilities are endless.

MSD 7AL-3 ignition boxes have been a favorite of sportsmen and racers that want adjustments at their fingertips. For nitrous fans, there are four separate stages that can be activated independently yet add up together. Plus there's an RPM Activated Switch for precise control over a circuit. These ignitions combine high-output spark energy for high-compression race engines, combined with the most popular drag racing accessories, including a 3-step rev limiter, 4-stage retards, a start retard, and an rpm-activated switch. Offering industry-leading spark energy output in a compact and efficient package, the Ultra 7AL includes four step retards, three rev limits and two rpm-activated switch outputs. The Ultra 7AL also features two different power output settings that can be used for on-the-fly changes which are perfect for drag-and-drive applications. All features are adjusted using plug-in modules including the 3-step rev control and multi-step retard. The rev control gives you the ability to set one rev limit for the burnout, another for the staging rpm limit and a third for use top end engine protection in the event of driveline failure.
