Davis Unified Ignition 5.0 Hot Forged Distributors
Davis Unified Ignition offers 5.0 hot forged distributors for a variety of Ford Mustang and F-150 applications from the 1980s and '90s. These replacements deliver reliable performance and show-quality looks! They have the toughness and durability that 5.0 engines demand. Hot forging provides a denser and stronger distributor, compared to cast aluminum and billet models. Each unit is tested for thermal shock and accuracy between 8,000 and 10,000 rpm. Machined using CNC mills and lathes, the distributors are made to exact tolerances. They include a high-dwell Dyna module for increased spark duration, which provides a better burn of the fuel mixture. DUI 5.0 hot forged distributors come with a steel gear installed for compatible roller camshafts. Order the model recommended for your vehicle.

Summit Racing™ Digital RTR Plus Billet Distributors
We've taken our original Ready-to-Run billet distributors and upped the ante with our Summit Racing™ Digital RTR (Ready-to-Run) Plus billet distributors. They now feature a digital module with a 7.5 amp rated dwell control circuit for maximum energy output. They deliver 400 volts and 125mJ of spark energy to the coil and upwards of 50,000 volts from the coil to the spark plugs. We've also added a single-stage rev limiter with a simple "tap to ground" process of the tachometer lead attached to the module to set the limiter. The tachometer dual purpose lead also produces a 25 percent duty cycle, square wave signal, so it can be used with multifunction tachometers and most popular aftermarket EFI systems. Another bonus feature of our digital technology is a fully automatic start retard. This built-in feature provides 4 degrees of timing retard during cranking and is fully dialed out by 300 rpm. This gives you easier and quicker hot restarts while lowering the initial start load on the starter and electrical system. With all these upgraded features, you're assured of peak output throughout all RPM ranges, quicker hot starts, EFI capability and the reliability of digital technology. The distributors still have the same lightweight, forged, precision CNC-machined aluminum housing for strength and stability; polished steel shafts with sealed ball bearings for stable operation through 10,000 rpm; and a maintenance-free, high-output magnetic trigger for accurate and reliable performance. All distributors come with a high-quality, 30 percent glass-filled PBT cap and rotor with brass terminals and contacts. An ignition box is not required for use with Summit Racing™ Digital RTR Plus billet distributors except when used with an aftermarket EFI system. Select the model recommended for your car, truck, or van. These Ready-to-Run distributors must use a coil with .5 to .7 Ohms primary resistance and 5 to 7 mH primary inductance.

Summit Racing™ Billet Electronic Mopar Distributors
Summit Racing™ billet electronic Mopar distributors convert your old points ignition to a new modern electronic breaker-less system. These distributors offer these benefits: improved timing and dwell control; higher energy at the spark plug for easier starting; improved throttle response; extended RPM range; and better efficiency, along with increased spark plug life. The distributor bodies are CNC-machined from forged 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and come with a glass fiber reinforced (PBT) tan cap (which is patterned after the OEM dual point cap)—with extra internal voltage dams that help to prevent crossfire while resisting carbon tracking. The shafts are centerless ground and ride on both upper and lower sealed roller bearings for smooth operation at high RPM's and extended service life. The cap contacts and rotor blade are brass and the rotor spring is stainless steel, all for long-term maximum conductivity.
