These capacitive discharge systems create a powerful 100 mJ spark at full voltage, with multiple sparks below 3,000 rpm to improve starting ability, idle quality, and throttle response, while preventing plug fouling due to cylinder load-up. They have a 470V primary/45,000V secondary output, plus a built-in rev limiter-just use the rotary dials to set it anywhere from 2,000 to 9,900 rpm. The distributor bodies are CNC-machined from forged 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and come with a glass fiber reinforced (PBT) tan cap (which is patterned after the OEM dual point cap)—with extra internal voltage dams that help to prevent crossfire while resisting carbon tracking. Philadelphia Racing Products has done it again with their newly designed LS coil mounting brackets. These brackets are engineered to fit LS1, LS2, LS6, LS7 engines, and will fit MSD coils. Each bracket is designed to be remote mounted, and comes complete with stand-offs for easy removal. Brackets are CNC-machined out 6061 billet aluminum. The stands are clear anodized and brackets are black anodized for a great finishing touch and corrosion protection. Kits come complete with stainless hardware for mounting.
