MechMan Voltage Boost Harnesses

MechMan voltage boost harnesses increase the charging voltage by 1.0 V. Offered individually, they fit a range of GM trucks and SUVs with oval 4-pin alternator plug. The longer blue wire gets connected to an ignition switched 12 V+ source to turn the alternator on and off with ignition. These MechMan harnesses can be modified and hardwired to ignition 12 V+ for engine swap applications where the stock alternator harness is not available. NOTE: These voltage boost harnesses are NOT for use on standard 12 V AGM batteries. The modules will increase the charging voltage by 1.0 V and will swell and damage AGM batteries. Please check with your Lithium battery manufacturer to verify the proper charging voltage before installing this module.

Another bonus is that the 8.5mm ring terminals are already crimped to the wires, so you won't have to replace the stock grounds unless you want to improve them or double up. Additional ring connectors are included, so you can trim the wires to length and replace the terminals if needed.
