MechMan voltage boost harnesses increase the charging voltage by 1.0 V. Offered individually, they fit a range of GM trucks and SUVs with oval 4-pin alternator plug. The longer blue wire gets connected to an ignition switched 12 V+ source to turn the alternator on and off with ignition. These MechMan harnesses can be modified and hardwired to ignition 12 V+ for engine swap applications where the stock alternator harness is not available. NOTE: These voltage boost harnesses are NOT for use on standard 12 V AGM batteries. The modules will increase the charging voltage by 1.0 V and will swell and damage AGM batteries. Please check with your Lithium battery manufacturer to verify the proper charging voltage before installing this module.

MechMan adjustable external voltage regulators include a 2-pin alternator harness. These combos work with most OEM and MechMan Chrysler units from 1999-2006, and will allow the user to adjust charging voltage anywhere from 13.8 to 19.0 V. Please note: Installation of this unit will leave the OEM alternator harness unplugged, which will result in the check battery light in the dash staying on all the time. Compare the plug on your alternator to verify compatibility.

XS Power Titan8 lithium batteries are designed for peak power. This Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) Series uses a very high-power lithium cell that is designed for very high-burst output (up to 100 times its capacity) as well as very high-charge current (30 to 60 times its capacity). When using a 16 V battery in longer races that require an alternator, it is recommended that sensitive 12 V components be resistored using these XS Power voltage step-down boxes. They feature dual outputs, one input, and two outputs. The step-down modules are rated 50 amps max at a 50 percent duty cycle, and 25 amps continuous when using the 3.6 V output.
