Summit Racing brings you our ultimate ignition wire with our 8.5mm 50ohm wire sets. They are made with 100% high tear resistant silicone construction, a 50ohm per foot Wire-Wound FERRITE magnetic suppression core, stainless steel and brass terminals and extreme heat-resistant boots. Only the highest quality raw materials and Made in the USA workmanship, go into every set. The 100% High-Tear resistant silicone jacket protects the inner ferrite core from heat breakdown. The dual silicone layers are bonded together using a tightly woven fiberglass matting that virtually eliminates terminal pull off. Our 50-ohm ferrite core has over 3 FEET of nickel/copper mag winding per INCH! With this tightly wound core, you can be assured that your spark plugs are getting all the power your ignition system can provide. Stainless steel terminals with Posi-lock hardened clips and brass terminals are used on all applications; for superior connection and consistent voltage delivery. High heat silicone and high dielectric strength polymers make up the extreme composition of the spark plug boots. Our boots provide superior radiant heat resistance for longevity and high dielectric strength properties to prevent voltage leakage. With all of these features built into our Race-proven 8.5mm 50-ohm sets, you can be assured that installing one of these sets on your engine will give you all the performance and durability you have come to expect from Summit Racing products.

Our Summit Racing™ Ready-to-Run billet distributors provide reliable spark throughout the rpm range, so they'll deliver the performance you need, no matter what you drive--race car, street machine, or hauler. The affordable distributors have high-dollar features that outperform the competition, like a lightweight aluminum housing that's precision CNC-machined for strength and stability, polished steel shafts with sealed ball bearings for stable operation through 10,000 rpm, and a maintenance-free, high-output magnetic trigger for accurate and reliable performance. The distributors have a black alkyd cap and some models also feature vacuum advance. An ignition box is not required for use with Summit Racing™ Ready-to-Run billet distributors except when used with an aftermarket EFI system.
