MechMan indicator light harnesses prevent the "check battery" light from coming on in the dash. Offered individually as well as supplied with all MechMan hairpin alternators for a range of GM trucks and SUVs, they accept oval GM alternator plugs. The longer blue wire gets connected to an ignition switched 12 V+ source to turn the alternator on and off with ignition and prevent the indicator light from coming on. MechMan harnesses can also be modified and hardwired to ignition 12 V+ for engine swap applications where the stock alternator harness is not available.

Give your vehicle the power source it needs with Holley alternator pigtails. These weatherproof plug and wire pigtails are designed for select Holley alternators or similar Delco AD-style alternators. They're fairly easy to install--just connect the yellow wire to switched voltage that is "on" when the key is in the run position. These pigtails have a resistor inline, so a charge indicator light is not required. However, if the vehicle has a charge indicator light, the yellow wire can be connected to it and the light will function. So, for high-amp, high-torque solutions for some of today's toughest applications, give Holley a go!

These combos work with most OEM and MechMan Chrysler units from 1999-2006, and will allow the user to adjust charging voltage anywhere from 13.8 to 19.0 V. Please note: Installation of this unit will leave the OEM alternator harness unplugged, which will result in the check battery light in the dash staying on all the time. Compare the plug on your alternator to verify compatibility.
