MechMan High-Output Racing Alternators
MechMan 6-phase hairpin high-output alternators offer a solution to the inadequate alternators that come from the factory on specified vehicles. These replacement units feature twin rectifiers with 12 massive press-fit diodes, as compared to the small 8-diode rectifier in the stock alternator. Even mild performance builds will typically consume more amperage than what stock alternators can provide. Hairpin stator technology provides better high-rpm durability and better resistance to heat from the turbo manifold. The alternators utilize a high rpm-friendly larger diameter pulley, and bolt directly in place of the original equipment.
