DIYAutoTune hall effect sensors can be used as crankshaft or camshaft position sensors, and are also suitable for use as vehicle speed sensors (VSS). The threaded bodies feature a red anodized finish and includes two M12 mounting nuts. They run off 5 to 24 V and gives a nice square wave, so there's no variable voltage issues. Specifications are: * Operating voltage: 5 to 24 V * Maximum over-voltage and reverse voltage: +30 to -24 V * Maximum supply current required: 6 mA * Maximum output current sinking: 20 mA * Output type: Open collector * Triggering options: Magnet or ferrous metal * Maximum frequency: 15 kHz * Temperature range: -40 to +125 degrees C * Nominal air gap: 1.5mm * Thread pitch: M12 x 1mm * Overall length: 65.5mm, not including wires * Sensor material: Aluminum * Sensor orientation: Not directional * Recommended tooth size is a rectangle measuring at least 2.5mm x 6.35mm, with a 5.0mm tooth height.

After an MSD DIS-2 series ignition control is installed on the waste spark ignition system of some vehicles, the ECM of the vehicle will not be able to receive a cam sync signal. These MSD cam sync generators produce a cam sync signal after startup for the factory ECM. This is done by detecting a cylinder that is under compression through its signal wire, which is wrapped around the designated spark plug wire.

Innovators West Crank Trigger replacement pickups feature the same electrical plug and thread size to be compatible with MSD ignition systems and others that use Flying Magnet Style. Polarity of the wires on the crank trigger sensor will likely affect your timing on a MSD Ignition System. MSD advises that the correct polarity is the one that has the most timing advance on a Digital Ignition. For analog ignitions, this is opposite, and the correct polarity is the one that has the most retard. You must try both polarities to see which one generates the most advanced setting on a digital ignition (or most retard on analog ignition).

Edelbrock LS Pro-Flo 4 EFI harnesses are required for the Pro-Flo 4 LS kits. They connect into the main harness and the crank sensor, cam sensor, and idle air control (IAC) motor. Available to fit engines with a 24-tooth or 58-tooth reluctor wheel, these wiring harnesses are the last component you'll need to complete your Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 LS engine upgrade. To identify which part is right for your application, Gen III 24-tooth engines featured the cam sensor mounted at the top rear of the block, while Gen IV 58-tooth engines feature the cam sensor mounted onto the timing cover.

MSD 6LS Ignition harness allow you to easily connect the 6LS-2 to a factory EFI system to take advantage of timing adjustments and settings. MSD's 6LS extension harness allows you to reach the front-mounted cam sensor on an early (24-tooth trigger wheel) LS2 when installing a 6LS Ignition Controller. The 6LS-2 Controller allows you to map a timing advance curve with MSD's easy-to-use Pro-Data+ software.

Now you can convert the crank signal from any General Motors Gen IV V8 engine into a signal readable by most aftermarket tachometers using GM Gen IV tachometer drivers from Painless Performance. They feature a simple 4-wire hookup with power, ground, signal in, and signal out. No cutting of the fuel injection wire harness is required, which makes installation a breeze. Plus, these tach drivers will work with any aftermarket tachometer that is 12 V negative driven.
