MSD 6EFI ignition coils produce high-spark energy to ensure the air and fuel in your engine get burned completely to improve starting, throttle response, and supply powerful spark throughout the RPM range. Designed to match the 6EFI ignition, the 6EFI coil has a clean black appearance with logos laser-etched on a black anodized aluminum mounting bracket, and is supplied with four, self-tapping mounting screws, plus a plug-in harness with color-coded wires to facilitate an easy installation. When running an MSD Atomic EFI or similar throttle body fuel injection system with a 6EFI ignition box, the 6EFI ignition coil is made for you! In addition, an MSD spark plug wire boot and terminal come in the kit to convert your existing coil wire from a female socket connection, to male high energy ignition (H.E.I.) connection if needed.

Convert your OEM-style breaker points and condenser to the more reliable Unilite ignition from Mallory. These self-contained units have no moving parts to wear out, so they provide many years of trouble-free service. Simply replace the points with the Unilite module, which consists of a photo coupler, signal processor, and power switch. Each time the shutter wheel stops the infrared light from reaching the photo coupler, the electronic circuitry energizes the ignition coil. When the shutter wheel allows the light to reach the photo coupler, the stored energy in the coil discharges. These kits can drive both OEM and high-performance ignition coils, and are designed for 12 V negative ground systems.

Edelbrock Max-Fire Coil On Plug ignition coils are designed with higher resistance for increased energy output at higher rpm, when compared to an OEM coil. They're ideal for use with turbocharged and supercharged applications or engines that have been converted to E85 fuel. The coils are sealed with a high temperature epoxy for shock and vibration resistance—as well as excellent thermal conductivity. The spark plug spring contact is made from stainless steel, with a ferrite lug to reduce EMI/RFI noise; while the boots are molded from a high temperature silicone compound for superior heat resistance up to 550 degrees F. Order the direct bolt-on OEM coil pack recommended for your vehicle.

FAST XR-1A high-output ignition coils are designed specifically for high-compression naturally aspirated, boosted, or nitrous-equipped applications making more than 1,000 hp. This horsepower range is far beyond the capabilities of OE coils. The spark energy of the FAST coils is comparable to CDI (capacitive discharge ignition) systems without the need to convert. The smart coil design also requires no ignitor module. XR-1A high-output ignition coils deliver up to 44,000 volts, 103mJ of energy, and support a maximum of 19 amps of current and 17 volts. They're designed to work with all OEM equipment, as well as FAST products that support coil-near-plug applications such as the XIM and EZ-LS ignition controllers. Order the coils for your application individually or in a set of eight.
