Lang Tools computer memory savers are designed to maintain the memory of the on-board vehicle computer when the battery is disconnected. These modules prevents loss of certain drivability codes, keyless entry codes, digital radio settings, cellular phone settings, and other memory-related functions. Z Automotive Security Gateway Bypass Modules

All 2018+ FCA (Stellantis) vehicles are built with a Security Gateway Module (SGW) that prevents access to the vehicle from the OBD2 port by anything other than the dealer diagnostic tools. Simply locate and unplug the SGW module, and plug the SGW Bypass block in its place. The OBD2 port will then have full access for use by aftermarket devices such as Z Automotive's Tazer or BurnBox, tuning tools, and code readers. These modules are required for use in 2018 and up Grand Cherokees and Durangos.
