MechMan High-Output 6-Phase alternators offers incredible low-rpm output in a compact and durable package. Highly efficient, these units use less horsepower than conventional 3-phase alternators. Their 12 diodes, twin rectifier plates, and outstanding airflow ensure much better durability than standard Delco CS130-based alternators, even in severe conditions. This custom designed housing directly replaces standard CS130 "left mount" alternators as used on 1987-95 Chevy C1500 pickups and some aftermarket accessory drives. A side output stud and seamless rear cover with a side output plug allow for better clearance from the back of the alternator to the front of the engine and a smooth appearance. A single wire on the provided pigtail gets connected to any ignition-switched 12+ volt source to turn the alternator on and off with the ignition switch. Simply run a properly sized positive and ground cable from the alternator to the terminals of the battery and the alternator will work perfectly, regardless of what kind of wiring harness you have. The small epoxy sealed controller is mounted to the VSS output using the existing bolt, and once the unit is powered up, you will be able to connect via Bluetooth to your Apple or Android smartphone using Bowler's free app. The app will give you the ability to customize the input and output settings for each feature to ensure proper operation in your vehicle. The perfect finishing touch for any Tremec T-56 Magnum conversion, Bowler's All-in-One harnesses eliminate the need for any additional equipment to operate the reverse lock out or generate the correct speedometer signals coming from your Tremec T-56 Magnum. Previously, you would have needed up to five separate parts to perform all the same functions wrapped one of these harnesses. The more technology we incorporate into our hot rods sometimes requires specific input signals to allow everything to function correctly. With the two speed outputs available in these harnesses, you can independently control the output of each one further eliminating any need for additional equipment and connections. Regarding the reverse lockout, Bowler has incorporated the same speed setting feature as the OEs into the All-in-One harnesses, giving you better control over when the lock out is triggered.
