Developed on the PowerFT platform, already praised for FuelTech's FT500 version, the FT600 EFI Systems offer new features, such as: the new Superseal automotive connectors that add up to 68 pins (20 sensor inputs and 32 outputs), accelerometer and gyroscope, two CAN networks, and a built-in GearController. The last feature enables the direct connection with the strain gauge sensor on the shifter, bringing new possibilities for more efficient engine gearshift cuts. The C-Com XFI Windows-based software is easy to navigate and features field-flashable capabilities, so you can download the latest software updates via email or directly from FAST. These XFI control units also feature Qwik Tune for programming without a laptop. Pre-program up to four different EFI maps--optimize a setting for your daily driving, one for racing conditions, and still another for fuel economy. FAST engineers worked with professional boat racers to tailor the benefits and advanced controls of these XFI 2.0's to the unique needs of marine applications. First, the ECU was O-ring sealed to enable marine use. Then, marine-specific auxiliary outputs were added.
