MSD Direct Ignition Systems
The MSD Direct Ignition System (DIS) controller greatly simplifies the conversion from conventional distributor-type engines to a coil-per-plug configuration. Benefits include the elimination of distributor cap and rotor wear; reduced spark energy losses caused by long spark plug wires; and the ability to optimize your ignition tuning parameters. The integral 2.5 bar MAP sensor and optional temperature sensor input mean you get the most power and reliability out of your naturally aspirated or forced induction engine. Nitrous-fed engines benefit from the included Step Retard feature. Drag racers will appreciate the 2-Step rev limiter and Launch Retard features. Real-time DIS configuration and tune-up changes are a snap with easy-to-use MSDView software. Thanks to the real-time monitor feature of MSDView, and 8 MB of internal data storage in the DIS controller, data monitoring and logging have never been easier. The clearly labeled wiring harness, along with a full line of supporting components and accessories, take the difficulty and guesswork out of converting traditional distributor-type engines to a modern and efficient coil-per-plug ignition system. MSD Pro Mag 44 Electronic Points Boxes
MSD Pro Mag 44 electronic points boxes are responsible for controlling the Pro Mag 44's energy, such as the special long duration spark and quick rise time. They feature electronic circuitry that replaces the breaker points. This allows the power of the generator to be released to the coil instantly and at full power. The boxes keep the electricity flowing across the plug for a full 26 degrees of crankshaft rotation, ensuring complete combustion, and they are available with an optional rev limiter.

FuelTech FTSPARK GEN II Ignition System
The FuelTech FTSPARK GEN II is an extremely high-energy Capacitive Discharge Ignition (CDI) system designed to meet the highest spark requirements for racing. It's developed for high-horsepower combinations and test-proven on 5,000+ horsepower engines! Compatible with any ECU on the market, this system is able to generate a spark with up to 750mJ (mJ=mili Joules) of energy—and is capable of firing the spark with 140 amps of current in the coil primary. With these features, FTSPARK generates a spark with approximately 5x more energy and 10x more current compared to a SparkPRO, ensuring a burn in any condition, especially in extremely rich air/fuel ratios. Models are available for 4-, 6-, or 8-coil applications. MSD MC-4 programmable ignition controls for motorcycles combine multiple spark discharge and digital computer accuracy into one compact ignition system, giving you the best of both worlds. You'll be able to program the MC-4s at the track, on the dyno, or wherever, with or without a computer! The supplied Pro-Data plus software gives you just what you have been waiting for--the ability to program ignition timing curves to suit your engine's needs.
