The Lingenfelter Performance Engineering STOV-004 is a vehicle speed-based switch that can be used to enable or disable devices based on vehicle speed—much like an RPM switch or RPM window switch, but instead based on vehicle speed. The STOV-004 also provides a 0-5 volt analog output corresponding to vehicle speed that can be used to provide a vehicle speed signal to many other add-on devices. These switches can accept the vehicle speed output signal from most engine control modules and can also connect directly to many common speed sensors. The Lingenfelter STOV-004 can also provide a stage/gear shift output for boost controllers and other devices that need to see a gear shift position switch output to change stages. Product features: * Accepts a wide range of pulse count frequencies from 100 to 60,000 pulses per mile (PPM) * Works with ECM output signals and stand-alone Hall effect-type speed sensors * Easy-to-use vehicle speed learning mode using push-button switch in the back of the module * Set the PPM count even when you do not know the PPM configuration of the vehicle * Built-in vehicle speed sensor signal pull-up resistor that is enabled by a DIP switch setting inside the back cover for applications that require a pull-up resistor * Simplifies wiring * Easy to adjust high and low vehicle speed settings via four front-mounted 10-position switches * Provides switched outputs or window switch outputs based on vehicle speed * Provides ECM/PCM vehicle speed frequency to analog voltage conversion Available output types: * Normally ON ground * Normally OFF ground * Normally ON +12vdc * 0-5vdc/0-250 mph linear analog output Stage/gear shift output mode works with multi-stage boost and nitrous controllers including: * Turbosmart eBoost2 * NLR AMS1000 * Leash Electronics Boost Leash Gear-Based controller Benefits: * Easily adjustable activation point in 1 mph increments * Enable nitrous or an additional stage of nitrous-based on vehicle speed * Enable a boost controller for increased boost above a certain vehicle speed * Disable fans above a certain vehicle speed * Lock a torque converter clutch above a certain vehicle speed * Disable a 2-step once the vehicle is moving so that it does not activate on each gear change

PerTronix Ignitor® solid-state ignition systems deliver more energy with greater timing accuracy. The secret lies in the trigger magnets, which spin with the rotor and operate a switching module that requires no external control box. These systems are immune to heat, oil, and debris—and install in about 15 minutes with only two wires to connect. They come with a switching module, hardware, and instructions. Ignitor® is an ideal choice for collector car restoration because it fits entirely under the distributor cap.

These MSD 2-step rev controllers coupled with MSD's digital 6AL ignition box let you choose from two different rpm limits that can be activated at different times. For example, you can use a lower-rpm setting for staging and then automatically switch to a higher-rpm setting after you release your trans-brake or line lock. The 2-Step is also digitally controlled and connects to the Digital 6AL's gray tach output wire. There are two easy to read rotary dials that let you set the launch rpm in 100 rpm increments from 2,000-11,800 rpm. There is an activation wire that connects to the transbrake, a clutch switch or to the line-lock to activate the low rpm limit. When that switch is released, the low rpm limit is turned off and the car launches hard!

Proform's Street/Strip HEI distributors have a variety of improvements over stock HEI distributors, such as a 50,000 V coil, a premium hi-dielectric cap with brass terminals, both upper and lower bushings for added durability, a low-saturation ignition module, and no voltage-reducing ballast resistors. These units offer calibrated advance curves that are optimized for maximum combustion efficiency, and the elimination of detonation damage and throttle ping. The distributors offer longer-term durability and a higher voltage spark that permits a bigger spark plug gap, resulting in more power and reduced plug fouling. The Ford models' internal coil and module make it possible for Blue Oval owners to avoid the unsightly wiring of stock Ford electronic ignitions. By eliminating the stock Ford or AMC ballast resistor, you'll get more ignition voltage, resulting in an improved spark. Another advantage to switching to HEI is access to easily-found HEI replacement parts. The Ford units are also assembled with upper and lower bushings, an upgrade from stock distributors that only have a single bushing. They're easy to install by connecting one 12 V hot wire to the distributor, making them a quick performance upgrade.

PerTronix digital rev limiters are micro-controller based digital units that provide much greater accuracy than analog systems. Rotary switches with 100 rpm increments permit easy setting, and eliminate the need for chips or jumpers commonly found on other limiters. They control rpm by randomly stealing sparks, reducing the fouling common with other brands. Each of these units includes two analog filters and one digital filter to eliminate unwanted entry of voltage noise from the coil. Plus, a tachometer output with a TTL interface makes these limiters compatible with most of today's OEM and aftermarket tachometers.

Convert your OEM-style breaker points and condenser to the more reliable Unilite ignition from Mallory. These self-contained units have no moving parts to wear out, so they provide many years of trouble-free service. Simply replace the points with the Unilite module, which consists of a photo coupler, signal processor, and power switch. Each time the shutter wheel stops the infrared light from reaching the photo coupler, the electronic circuitry energizes the ignition coil. When the shutter wheel allows the light to reach the photo coupler, the stored energy in the coil discharges. These kits can drive both OEM and high-performance ignition coils, and are designed for 12 V negative ground systems.

MSD automatic coil selectors are quick and easy way to switch from your primary ignition to your backup! Running two ignition systems gives you peace of mind during a long race, but how do you swap the coil wire to the back-up ignition? With MSD, that's how! They have two posts that connect to the voltage towers of the coils, while a third post connects to the distributor. When you switch to the back-up ignition, the coil selectors sense which coil is being fired and then transfer that coil's voltage to the distributor cap.

The Daytona Twin Tec VT-I ignition systems include a special trigger rotor for use with a traditional mechanical advance mechanism. Then, a Hall Effect sensor detects the teeth on this special trigger rotor and provides very stable spark timing. A rotary switch is used for a precise, digital RPM limiter that can be set from 5,200 to 7,000 rpm in 200 rpm increments. This system also has a red status LED that allows easy static timing. The VT-I is compatible with most original equipment and aftermarket dual fire ignition coils and has a simple 2- wire hookup to the coil. Electronic dwell control provides maximum ignition energy at high RPM—and reduced current draw at low RPM. The unit operates down to below 6 V for reliable starting under all conditions, including kick start. VT-I utilizes fully encapsulated construction with surface-mount electronics. The unit is waterproof and highly resistant to vibration and shock. Electronic components also include over-temperature protection and are rated to operate up to 260 degrees F (125 degrees C).
