MSD Blaster HVC ignition coils are designed for high-rpm, long-duration applications, such as road course and Circle Track racing using the MSD 6 Series ignition. These units feature a 100:1 turns ratio, as well as lower primary resistance to produce high-voltage output. Windings are encased in a durable epoxy and secured with extruded brackets. They also feature a spark plug style terminal and a threaded brass primary stud. These ignition coils are CARB EO-approved and are supplied with rubber shock mounts to help them resist coil vibration. Equip your performance vehicle with MSD Blaster HVC ignition coils and feel the power!

When tested against a competitor's coil, the MSD Pro Power coils produced 33 percent more current at the plug. They have an oil-filled insulated polyester case, an extra-tall high-tension spark plug tower to stop voltage leaks, and rubber shock mounts. They're designed for drag race use only, with MSD 7 and 8 Series ignitions.

Edelbrock Max-Fire Coil On Plug ignition coils are designed with higher resistance for increased energy output at higher rpm, when compared to an OEM coil. They're ideal for use with turbocharged and supercharged applications or engines that have been converted to E85 fuel. The coils are sealed with a high temperature epoxy for shock and vibration resistance—as well as excellent thermal conductivity. The spark plug spring contact is made from stainless steel, with a ferrite lug to reduce EMI/RFI noise; while the boots are molded from a high temperature silicone compound for superior heat resistance up to 550 degrees F. Order the direct bolt-on OEM coil pack recommended for your vehicle.

The Daytona Twin Tec VT-I ignition systems include a special trigger rotor for use with a traditional mechanical advance mechanism. Then, a Hall Effect sensor detects the teeth on this special trigger rotor and provides very stable spark timing. A rotary switch is used for a precise, digital RPM limiter that can be set from 5,200 to 7,000 rpm in 200 rpm increments. This system also has a red status LED that allows easy static timing. The VT-I is compatible with most original equipment and aftermarket dual fire ignition coils and has a simple 2- wire hookup to the coil. Electronic dwell control provides maximum ignition energy at high RPM—and reduced current draw at low RPM. The unit operates down to below 6 V for reliable starting under all conditions, including kick start. VT-I utilizes fully encapsulated construction with surface-mount electronics. The unit is waterproof and highly resistant to vibration and shock. Electronic components also include over-temperature protection and are rated to operate up to 260 degrees F (125 degrees C).
