Standard Motor Products MAP sensors are direct, high-quality replacements for your vehicle's worn, damaged, or malfunctioning manifold absolute pressure sensor. These sensors accurately produce voltage or frequency as manifold pressure changes, and the computer uses this information to measure engine load so that the ignition timing can be advanced and retarded as needed.
