ACDelco GM Genuine Parts ignition control modules are GM recommended replacement components that undergo more stringent testing than aftermarket products. They increase the voltage in order for the spark plugs to ignite the air/fuel mixture. GM Genuine Parts ignition control modules feature electronically welded lead connections to help reduce heat stress, failure, or cold joints. They have been laser trimmed to provide precise values and reduce deterioration and damage. They include a copper slug heat sink to help dissipate heat and create a more stable environment. They also feature a large bus bar for added support and conductivity to address the installation and operating forces that stress terminal tabs. The GM Voltec platform was designed around it's battery/hybrid system, but the internal combustion system was a budget solution—and the factory coil does not maximize the performance and efficiency of your engine. ZZP's high-voltage coil pack has improved core material, tighter coil winding, and higher voltage. No ECU calibration needed. * Model HVCP-38V2: These high-voltage coil packs will supply a stronger spark, which allows you to run a larger gap that will improve fuel economy, drivability, and HP capability.
