Racepak AF1 single channel air fuel sensor packages are designed to be utilized with any of Racepak's Vnet (canbus) series of data loggers. They are suitable for use with gasoline or alcohol, with calibration values available for either fuel types. The power supply requirement of 12 to 16 volts enables use with standard 12 volt or 16 volt high performance batteries. Racepak's Vehicle Network (V-Net) is a "smart data" transfer network able to transmit multiple signals from sensors over a single cable. The key to the V-Net system is the modular connectors that attach each of the devices to the main cable. For a function or component to be monitored on the V-Net, the signal from that device must pass through a sensor and its module (essentially a miniature computer) that identifies and retrieves only the proper incoming signals and allows other signals to pass through. Racepak Hall Effect driveshaft sensors take advantage of the magnetic field created by simple magnets. It allows the sensors to generate a measurable voltage output known as the Hall Effect. This output can be gauged to accurately determine things like driveshaft or wheel rpm. These metal devices feature a 5/16 in. fine thread pitch on one end and a 3-pin Molex connector on the other for installation. Collect exhaust samples accurately with Racepak air/fuel sensors. These A/F sensors come with a 13 in. pigtail cable and are compatible with either gasoline or methanol fueled engines. Gasoline application will display ratios between 9.55:1 and 20:1, while methanol will show from 4.22:1 to 8.7:1. Shock travel sensors are linear potentiometers that record the slightest amount of suspension movement. Monitoring the extension and compression of the shock absorbers aids greatly in understanding what the chassis is doing. It is a principal means of evaluating suspension movement and chassis setup. Regardless of your type of racing, Racepak shock travel sensors provide information that is frequently crucial to separating winners from the also-rans. They are usually connected through an analog port of a data recorder (sold separately) and monitored at high sample rates. An analog channel is required for each sensor; a separate sensor is required for each wheel monitored.

These general purpose turbine-type flow meters, when used along with DataLink's math channel capabilities, allow you to monitor the health of your fuel pump, as well as confirm the function of your fuel system timers and system lean-outs.
