Painless Performance 26-circuit 1970-72 Direct-Fit Chevelle harnesses give you everything you need, plus more! Not only are there provisions for connecting standard factory components, they also offer what you need for aftermarket parts. Various pigtails and light sockets are provided, so the harnesses easily fit mismatched cars (1971-72 cars with 1970 front ends, or 1970 cars with 1971-72 rear bumpers). The gauge cluster pigtail allows for the square "full sweep dash" harness and includes a Super Sport cluster pigtail. This makes it easy for those with a full sweep dash to swap to an SS-style cluster at a later date by undoing only one connector and plugging in the separate pigtail. Additional details: * Harness follows the same routing as the factory harness—allowing you to use OE attachment points * Numerous components have the connectors and terminals pre-installed to make connections plug-n-play * All exterior lights have the correct sockets and bulbs pre-installed * Extra length is added to the headlight section to be routed behind the driver side inner fender for a cleaner look * 6-gauge charge wire and 100 amp MIDI fuse * Fully integrated ground circuit * Factory-style precision molded fuse block can easily be installed in the OE location * Updated ATC-style fuses ensure that the 26 circuits stay protected and safe * Backside of the fuse block has an OE-style bulkhead connector so no trimming or cutting of your firewall is required * Plug-and-play design makes the install easy, no matter your options * Included console harness can be easily added at any time * Each pre-terminated connector is tagged for easy routing and installation * 120+ page manual is full of color schematics, photos, and step-by-step instructions Notes: * Options not supported in these harnesses are: the TCS relay, convertible top, rear defrost, wiring for the factory power window/locks, and factory A/C wiring * The switch power wire for OE power window/locks and A/C are included * Also included is a blower motor harness for heat-only systems
