NGK Spark Plugs offers NTK engine cylinder head temperature sensors for a variety of applications. They determine the exact temperature of the cylinder head by sending an analog signal to the ECM to calculate timing and fuel delivery for maximum engine performance, efficiency, and engine operating temperature. These sensors are located on the cylinder head. Reasons for replacement include: Check engine light illumination, erratic or no temperature gauge operation, erratic or no cooling fan operation, and engine overheating.

The NTK Difference: Thread sealant/O-ring installed where applicable. Thermistor placement within the housing matches OE to ensure proper output. Proper thermal conductive grease provides accurate temperature transfer to the thermistor
