When used with the Power Grid 7 system controller, these USB-compatible boxes offer advanced programming for ultimate control over your rpm and timing. For racers that need serious spark output, the MSD Ultra 7AL ignition boxes are the right choice. Offering industry-leading spark energy output in a compact and efficient package, the Ultra 7AL includes four step retards, three rev limits and two rpm-activated switch outputs. The Ultra 7AL also features two different power output settings that can be used for on-the-fly changes which are perfect for drag-and-drive applications. With sturdy vibration mounts and CD circuits encased in a clear 2-part silicone elastomer, they are virtually vibration-proof. MSD Programmable Digital-7 Plus CD Ignitions
MSD Programmable Digital-7 CD Plus ignitions have an output power and Individual Cylinder Management timing system that are hard to beat. At the heart of these ignitions is a 15 MHz micro-controller that analyzes and manages every trigger signal. Their capacitive discharge circuits and state-of-the-art IGBT coil drivers work together to deliver a potent spark that can easily handle high cylinder pressures. Below 3,300 rpm, a series of sparks burn in the cylinder over 20 degrees of crankshaft rotation, producing a smooth idle with great throttle response. You can control all of this spark energy through an array of timing and rpm programs. These programs include: Individual cylinder timing that can program up to 10 degrees per cylinder in .1 degree increments, a launch retard that lets you retard the timing up to 15 degrees for 0-2.5 seconds after the launch, a launch timing curve, and a run curve enabling you to plot a timing curve in .1 degree increments per 100 rpm. MSD Power Grid 3-Stage Delay Timing Controls
MSD Power Grid 3-stage delay timing controls are an add-on module for use with the MSD Power Grid system (sold separately). These controls let you activate up to three individual outputs based on time. The outputs can trigger a relay to activate nitrous, shifter, etc.; when the clutch/transbrake is released, the Power Grid will start the timers through the CANN connection. They'll also display live ignition timing!
